The Shopping Game (18th July 2020): Singapore Weekend Grocery Shopping

While it is still under the pandemic season, we have already cut down many activities all days. The only "more exciting" thing left in a week is grocery shopping.

Today as it's a weekend, so we have planned our trip to the hypermarket nearest to our home- FairPrice Hypermarket at Ang Mo Kio Hub, Singapore.

Since Singapore life is very convenient, one do not need to buy all stuffs in one shot, for example we have bought some vege in the morning market. And for Fairprice Hypermarket, we know some products sold here are more attractive and fresher, then we only will come and buy.

As it's hypermarket, fruits here are more choices and fresher.

We bought this apricot (350g) which is import from Turkey for S$2.95.

Sunkist Mandarin Orange , which is from Australia , is on big sales, only S$1.50.

Green Seedless Grapes from Egypt (500g) at S$2.95.

One good thing in Singapore is the authority encourage diversify the food supplies sources, as such the fruits could be from anywhere of any country in the world.

Yakult Drink at S$3.20, this Yakult i have already observed elsewhere in Singapore, the price seems like fixed nationwide. There's no other place could go lower than S$3.20. So we stick to same hypermarket to buy.

Cheese Slices 3packs of 10pieces each , at S$6.55.

Nestle Coffee Mate (450g) at S$2.55.

Last but not least, the time we reached the bakery section, the bakery was having sales for all its breads- individual packed bread they slashed the price to S$1 each . Oh yeah, we bought some for breakfast tomorrow .

In total , we have spent S$25.90, equivalent to USD18.63, or 91.7 Steem.
