Whaleshares Curation Show Recap
Monday night means it is curation time, I am sure you guys are already used it, right :D. Tonight was fun, we had an amazing guest curator @djlethalskillz with us, go ahead and check out his blog, listen to his music and make friends.
And I am going to move on and talk about my picks of the week.
Today I had two artsy posts for you and I'd like to start with presenting some artwork by a friend of mine from Golos chain @mrgreen. Here is the post: An artifact (own render-artwork). As you have probably guessed based off the name of it his main things are renders. Usually he just creates random objects, logos or whatever his mind feels like working on and in this post he guides us through the process of rendering, some tools he uses and explains that he usually doesn't have a straight idea as to what he is going to make so most of the artwork is spontaneous. He told me that he uses about 6 different applications and it takes him a couple days to complete a render. That is a long time to make something and then write about it in a post, if you ask me.

Pick #2: 🎨 Original Colorpencil Painting by @adelepazani. And it is another piece of art, but this time it is a drawing of a bird. When I saw the thumbnail in the #postpromotion channel, I knew I was going to select it, it looks extremely realistic and just simply gorgeous, it is kinda hard to believe it was made with just color pencils.
Perhaps you could say this post is a tutorial in a way too since she is sharing some drawing tips and guides us through the process of creating a drawing, the shading of the bird is just amazing, so is the signature at the bottom, I think it might be her portrait. Who knows though.
So those were my picks for the show tonight, a lot of creativity and art work here, please, check these people out, share some upvotes and all that good stuff with them if you like what they do :).
As always the show was possible thanks to Whaleshares, our kind host @nikflossus and restless curators: myself, @lindahas and @kubbyelizabeth.
Tune in and spectate every Monday at 7 PM EST on Whaleshares Discord. Message @nikflossus if you wanna be our next guest judge. Until next time!
I'm so happy for @adelepazani!!! I came across her blog a few weeks ago and also found her work super talented. Back then it was a painting of a little robin. Very realistic and just gorgeous. And now, when I see you mentioning that name here, I feel truly excited. For myself, too))) Because it's like the things are finally coming together. Honestly, I sometimes feel kind of lost here, on Steem. Too many people, different interests, hard to connect with someone. So, that's another reason I'm following you, besides bloody awesome pictures of food))) Anyways, thanks for sharing. Some day soon I'll explore Discord and that channel you are talking about .
hi @santa-barbara.... thank you for your kind words <3 :)
I agree big time! She IS super talented, when I saw that photo of a bird I was like, wow I gotta pick this one to present tonight, people gotta see it, I am happy I did.
This is one of the reasons why I love doing this show is because I get to discover great posts and make friends with awesome people.
I get what you're saying about it being so crowded here, start small and get to know a community at a time, here's an invite to Whaleshares discord. A bunch of friendly and helpful folks, you would like it there, come say hi!

Wow, that's really cool what you are doing @kotturinn! Honestly, I had no idea that there was a curation night or curation lounge...I'm still "new" to the ways of steemit :-D I'm glad I have now been introduced to all these talented people that you have chosen to highlight! So kind of you!
