In my not so humble opinion we'll all be better off if/when they flatten the reward's curve.
right now it's exponential 10^2....
that explains the problem we now have.
That's actually planned for the next hard fork. SP will no longer be squared in those calculations so that should really help alot.
The sooner the better.
