91% total Solar Eclipse was a BOMB here in my AO (lol) pics included

Well, the title says it all. Because we had a storm roll in, and the cloud cover was so dense it was not able to be viewed. I did see a partial (~35%) coverage before I got these 2 shots.

BTW, today was also my Dad's 80th Birthday, he is going pretty strong!
Helped him move some furniture from a house he sold today. Imagine that :D

Perhaps it is a Blessing in Disguise, I might have hurt my eyeballs if I had made a mistake and moved the phone the wrong way? :D I can be a Klutz sometimes! :p

Thanks!!!
He is doing great, has not looked this good since he was working IMO.
He's gone all white headed and grew a beard when he had a bout with
shingles, and could not shave. Going to do Santa Claus for the GG-Kids :D

It's really not worth losing your vision and/or camera over. I was told your camera/camcorder needs a filter or special lens and as for your eyes, a Welding mask is what you need for that.

Thanks for checking in, JaymZ! We had a partial eclipse in 1995 and I used that.
Did not dig out the welding mask this time, too cloudy from early on. Light clouds
can make it a bit worse, slight magnification effect in certain conditions.
It looked like VENUS over here on that day! lol
