Natural Bridge & The Gap in Albany

This is a natural bridge created by Nature and can be considered as "wonders" as it is not artificially make by man.
The waves that hit the rocks are so powerful that it carves out and eroded these rocks surfaces with their constant splashing at them. After years of eroding, the top part which are still intact form a Bridge like structure. I have seen another Natural Bridge in Mauritius similar to the one in Albany. That bridge is accessible and tourist can walk across. Of course very dangerous as there are no railing to hold but the width of that bridge is wide enough. One has to be careful not to push around or play when on the bridge. Many has taken photos while standing on the bridge. Not for those that are afraid of heights. The strong and powerful waves below will kill you instantly should you fall in. You will be smashed onto the rocks by these waves.
Thus one can imagine the strength of Mother Nature.

I took a photo of the sign board before entering the rocky trail to the lookout area. The lookouts at both the Gap and natural Bridge provide outstanding views of the Southern Ocean.

This is the pathway to the lookout area. You can see far away in the distance people looking down to the Gap where the strong waves hit the rocks below. For security the platform are well protected to prevent people climbing to take closer photos or accident from happening.
