Two things:

  1. I'm sorry I took so long @ireenchew!
  2. I know nothing about boxing.

Here is the beginning of the story by @ireenchew

It was almost sunrise from where Ivan was standing. It was his usual routine to jog this early in the morning. Taking a short cut across the river, he knew he would reach Pigeon Castle within minutes unlike his usual track which took him three times the time to reach.

Perspiration was trailing down all over him. Proof that he had really been pushing & burning all those unecessary fat. His trainer wouldn't be very happy with him if he knew of his diet the last few days.

Well.. he deserved to celebrate at least just for a while. It wasn't everyday that anyone could win the Junior Title for Lightweight.

The winner for this year's Lightweight in the Paralympic Category is Ivan Marshall!

Everyone were doubtful of his capabilities when Ivan announced his interest to be a Boxer! Even his parents feared for his physical competence and often advised him to change his mind. But, this was always his dream since he was a child, especially after meeting Mike Tyson in person.

Never give up you dream, boy.. No matter what anyone tells you !

Mike Tyson

Those magic words kept on repeating to him day and night after hearing it from Mike Tyson himself. Though Ivan may be physically disabled on his left arm since birth, he trained his right arm, upper and lower body to handle the challenges of a boxer. After 2 years of extensive training, Ivan finally enroled himself in the Paralympics qualification round.

It wasn't as easy as Ivan had thought. Never did he ever imagined that there were so many restrictions and health conditions that he needed to pass first before even going into the actual physical qualifying rounds. He didn't get in until after 2 years, in which he consulted many trainers for assistance.

Because of Mr Paerson, his trainer, Ivan finally got into the physical qualifying round. That was the biggest achievement for him after training himself vigorously for five years.

Here is my ending

And now he'd won the championship and proved anyone can do anything if they just keep trying. Like how he now tried to run off all the celebrating he had been doing.

Through his years of training he'd always heard the phrase, "If I miss a day of training, I'll notice. If I miss three days my trainer will notice, and if I miss more than three, everyone will notice."

He'd never missed a day of training but after his win he'd missed four because of the whirlwind that happened after. He'd shut off his phone and ignored all the texts from his trainer. Brandy, and Shara, were much more important the time. Now, he felt exhausted and out of shape.

He made a mental note, that no matter how big a win he had, or how beautiful the ladies were, he'd never miss another day of training. Not until he retired at least.

The end of the trail approached, and he could see someone ushering two women into a cab. He ran harder, not to impress the women, but to impress his trainer.

This is a great continuation @ntowl. I believe our we-write will inspire many people and in some ways actually tells the true stories for some.
I'm so so honoured to be able to have this joint writing with you. Thank you so much once again for giving me this opportunity to write together. 😄

I’m glad you liked it @ireenchew! I’ll write with you anytime. 😀
