RE: ⏺Are your goals clear enough?
A few months ago my son asked my husband what he thought it would take for him to become a well-known gamer on the internet. My husband brought him into my little office and presented him with me, completely absorbed in my task of becoming a known name on this platform and said "Most people will tell you it's about hard work , but I say it's about obsession ." Also we are big on the idea of setting intent. So this post obviously resonated :)
My man is a crypto guy, super gifted at deciphering which coins/tokens are going somewhere. In the short and the long term. He learned of steemit somewhere in the trenches of that world and after following it for a bit, he decided two things- A: It was the perfect creative outlet for me, and B: Unless another platform with the same idea and a better interface made an appearance this past year, steem would eventually be incredibly valuable. He's no longer concerned about the interface, in fact he thinks that holding off on that was part of the genius, to attract intelligent, forward thinking individuals and create a base of people to self-police and keep out other forms of censorship for one thing, but also to get the bugs worked out with hardforks before the masses descended, make sure this ship could hold up against a tidal wave and not be sunk by it.
This post was actually perfectly timed for me. I definitely have not been pushing as hard as I once did, which is not a problem in fact it was necessary to keep from burning out and allow me to still be consistent, but I'm thinking now is the time to push hard once more, while the price drops and the instant gratification/entirely lacking in foresight style newbies drop away with it.
I have no doubt you will accomplish what you set out to :)
I like this comment. A true sign of passion.
Your husband is in a really strong field of knowledge. You guys are going to be rewarded accordingly!
No matter in what area of life, the Law of Averages will always play it's course. Certain people just have certain paradigms and outlooks towards the things they do. 1% of people will always out-do the 99% combined.
These spammers, naggers, and immature users are just taking a different form here on this platform, but they have always been around the world for hundreds of years. As much as people hate seeing price fall, I enjoy it as an opportunity to see the 1% of 'big-hitters' keep at it. When price drops to 10 cents.. That's when all these other people lose hope, leaving only the strongest remaining! I can't wait :D
The Hard Forks are such a great way to filter the community for only quality users. I used the same marketing technique to build my Instagram followings.
I am so glad you got this info at the right time :) Besides, regardless of your personal journey, there is no better time to push harder than right now! Any work you put in now will 10x when things start to soar.. It's exciting! :D
Thanks for your input @Dreemit. I appreciate that!
