„Perception“

My friend @penderis inspired me so much this week, that I would like to dedicate this week's edition of the official WWWD to him and @BuddyUp. Please check out this amazing project if you are not aware of what @BuddyUp is. This weeks #dropintheocean shows prompt was "Perception" and it is for sure a theme that could not describe better what is going on within the #crypto world and at #Steemit right now.
A glass filled with water to the half could be seen as half full or half empty, depending on your perception.
The rise of the #bitcoin from 350$ to 4500$ could be seen as a huge success and an investment made at the 350$ level and hold until today is still a success, isn't it? But are we allowed to judge whether it is a success or not simply by looking at the amount of revenue - or win and loss - created? More money, the only result that matters?
I believe, and there we go, #perception, I believe, that the success of the bitcoin was to start a change process. A process that made #Steem as a project thinkable and then realizable. And Steem is a huge step in history towards change and freedom. Yes, I want to be pathetic now - maybe I am not - Steem could turn out to play a historic role for the future and the value of the Steem-Ecosystem goes far beyond the sole perception of revenue and monetary success.
It all depends on perception, how you feel about a project and if you really believe into a project, based on your personal status of your very personal change process. Your cultural environment, you meme, your life's experiences.

So if you would have the chance to invest with fiat today, what would you do?

The first week I have joined the community I became aware of @zen-art's blog.

What an interesting topic to talk about, PERCEPTION!
It's also a bit of a paradox as my poem suggests. The paradox is that what is reality if we are our own perceptions as 'observers' of this world? Especially if the world and those around us, are telling us what we should carry as a model for who we are - at least, what we perceive others think of us. (@youhavewings)

Making a statement that perception and perspective is the same thing is a lot like trying to say that because @artemisnorth and I are sisters that we are alike. We may have some shared similarities, but, we are definitely two different people with two different personalities. (@shadowspub)

I think this is a very important point that @shadowspub explains in her article about perception vs. perspective. This is the perfect insight to end this week's official WWWD with the theme "Perception".
I would like to state here - again - that perception might be more important to all of us than some might think. Our perception definitely influences the history of the world every day, on a smaller scale, how you approach a person on the street, on a larger scale, when it comes to crypto charts or global C H A N G E ...

How about that thought: Listen to everyone's perspective and try to respect it. Maybe there is one (or more) aspect(s) that enable you to connect with others, I think not all perspectives are dividing ... actually, I have to admit, I don't like perspectives so much, feels to me like a static judging filter somehow (Maybe just my perception of perspectives or my personal experiences concerning separation. I love unity:) Reflect on your perception, be aware and revise it if you feel it no longer fits your current personal status of growth in a sense.
