Very good advice to those who eat a lot of carbs - many in the US. I don't eat as much carbs as you are saying and I am pretty much on the veggie/protein diet for a few years now. I am thinner and feel so much more energy this way. This diet guideline was first described to me in the early 1980's, and I should have listened then.

The issue is always with proportion, eating carbs and protein is okay you just have to eat everything in the right amounts
