5 Minute Weekend Freewrite Prompt : breed | core values | quit | phone | bittersweet
Looking through the glass window, Peter sank deep into his thoughts. His mind was so far away that it would take a nuclear bomb to bring him back. How wrong he was to think so.
Feeling a drop of rain on his nose, he looked up above the skies. It's was turning cloudy and he could see the rain drops slowly coming down. The color of the skies seemed to reflect his mood; gloomy, sad, dark and worst of all frustrated.
He was never known as a person who would so easily quit at anything; be it work or life. He held strong beliefs in his life; good core values that had carried him from the first day he graduated from high school till he started work. And until today, he believed in those values of life. Maybe, he was from a different breed of DNA; from outer space perhaps.

Bittersweet memories of the first day he started work at this company came into his mind. It was all good and friendly at first. But, as the days goes by, things became from bad to worst. He wasn't sure how much more he could handle.
It's eating him inside out and for the past one week, he's been trying to find the wisdom and patience to stay on. It's like a loosing battle within him. Maybe there's no point in fighting back. How does one move a mountain if the giant inside refuses to change. Picking up the phone, he dialed the first number he saw.
Frankie.. It's me. I'm leaving. I've had enough. Please book the first flight out for me tomorrow. I'm going home. I won't fight this battle if they wont.
Placing the phone on the table top, Peter grabbed his jacket and walked onto the street for the last time. The street of no ending.
AND CUT!!
THAT'S A PERFECT SHOT!
WELLDONE TEAM... NEXT SCENE PLEASE!
