Weekend Recap
This weekend is actually still ongoing for us... it is a 3 day weekend here in the US with the Labor Day holiday.
With the long weekend, we decided to head out to the Colorado River and stay at a family vacation house. Some other family members joined as well, so there was 12 of us this weekend. The house on the Colorado River is about 4 hours from our home, so it is a little bit of a trek.
We took the boat out to Lake Mohave on Saturday and Sunday for most of the day. The weather is about 105 degrees, so it makes getting in the water even better. We did a lot of wakesurfing behind the boat, and spent quite a bit of time anchored up and swimming in covets. In addition to my 3 year old son, there was also a couple of other boys under 5 who are cousins, so they liked playing in the sand/rocks on the shore and using their construction equipment toys to make stuff.
I have not been able to do any real fishing yet, but I am planning to get out there tomorrow.
