This is an amazing, beautiful plant. I once grew 800 pounds of echinacea root and sold it all at $8/lb to The Herb Company in San Francisco. Today, I'm harvesting seed from the plants I sowed this year. Going to be lanting lot more of this plant and want to make tinctures. 
Wow, glad to hear someone's earning from coneflower farming... i'm hoping more and more people will learn its value so that people like you would benefit from the industry it would create. Thank you for sharing
