WednesdayWalk - We continue walks on the Ice Age
Hi, Steemit!!!
Today we continue walks on the Ice Age! Last time we met Diprotodon, mammoth and woolly rhinoceros. And today we move on. We go inside the building. On both sides of the corridor there were playrooms for children. The room on the left was dedicated to the “ice age”.
Here children could collect pictures puzzles, play an exciting board game. Great idea for the leisure of children!
We walked, focusing on the map. There were other landmarks. For example, pointers with mammoths on the walls and above the heads.
If you are too lazy to raise your head to look up, :))))) you can look under your feet. There were signs too.
Going along the map, we came to one of the new premises of the park complex. Before us was something incomprehensible.
A horse is not a horse; a camel is not a camel....
We read the accompanying plate: Macrauchenia (Macrauchenia patachonica). Even difficult to pronounce :))))
To the question: “who are you?” The beast answered us:
...which means: “I lived, my dear, a long time ago in South America; I weigh up to 800 kg and eat weed. I love the free wind of savannas and the breath of freedom ” :)))
Macrauchenia had a very strange appearance. Their height at the shoulders reached 1.8 m. On the long and very strong legs were three bearing fingers. The neck was very long and had a short trunk. I could not even imagine that such creatures lived on earth!
Then we go straight down.
I see a bull there! Next time we will get to know him better.
Have a nice evening!!!

What an interesting place to go for a walk! It really is so hard to imagine what the Earth must have been like back then.
