And there it goes!
The beach out at
Nikiski Alaska refinery docks.
Ice shadows look
more ruffled than the ice.
This is when the
ice monsters get
icicle whiskers that
drip back to sea.
Underneath is some
bluish clear ice that
was splashed by waves.
High tide at this beach.
Mount Redoubt volcano in
the distance between the
two docks. Huge oil and
gas ships are often
here fueling up.
Like this one when
the sun was setting
on the Cook inlet.

Wow thank you so much @phototalent! :-)
What cool shots on your walk soon the ice will melt away and spring will be taking over
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk !tip
Thank you very much @tattoodjay! :-)
As I'm catching up, today it snowed a little lol
It won't last long tho, few hours later and it's
melted. Still got piles and blankets of old snow
around. Staring to see some little green shoots
of grass near last years brown grasses.
Most welcome and good you are seeing some signs of spring starting to appear, have a super Sunday

Those are beautiful! I love the ice chunk and the shadow it casts. Really delicate.
Thank you very much @goat-girlz! :-)
I was surprised at the jagged look the
shadow casted!
Ahhhh....nice to see that sun back and doing it's job great photos of icicles that second photo looks like a Alligator's head...lol :)
Thank you @hangin! :-) Careful those ice teeth
can be sharp lol
You are most welcome @shasta ohhh...they definitely look sharp wouldn't want to standing under them when they break of...lol :)
What a great walk. Those ice shadows are incredible! #Ibrakeforshadows
You have one of the best places to go for a photo walk!
Thank you so much @melinda010100! :-)
Oh I forgot about that tag lol
It is a great place for beach walks as long
as the wind isn't blowing. It can feel so
cold, but the worst part is, the eyes water
to the point you can't see the rocks haha
I'm always forgetting about tags! I can imagine that damp cold wind. Lake Michigan is like that on cold windy days. Beyond bone chilling cold.
Lovely walk Shasta @shasta. ❤️ Nice to see the ice melting and their whiskers. 😊
Thank you very much ❤ @redheadpei! :-)
It is nice to see, tho fleeting are the ones
like this on the beach. The cool looking
spring ice might only have a few days or
that one week and some years we don't
see it at all, poof it's all gone lol
Icicle whiskers, ice shadows and everything melting. Sounds perfect to me! What more could you ask for? Don't answer that. LOL! Amazing photos as usual and congrats on being selected by @phototalent. well deserved my friend. : )
Thank you so much ❤ @whatisnew! :-)
