Wednesday Walk - The Gooslings have hatched!
Time for my #WednesdayWalk an initiative from @tatoodjay.
We've had plenty of rain making the road up the hill pretty muddy so we walked a different route to the pond down the road.
I was glad we did for there was a family of ducks with a few ducklings and a family of geese with half a dozen goslings!

There was some new blossoms popping up too. There was clumps of foam flowers, the Heuchera was in bloom and in the pine meadow the false lily of the valley covered the forest floor!

Later in the day we went up the hill and saw a Turkey Vulture Circling above the tree tops. So graceful to watch soaring in the sky!
Every day it seems something new pops up - the wonders of nature!

Foam flower looks a bit like our grape hyacinths. Funny name! Do you know why it's called that?

Ponds full of new life, fields of flowers what a wonderful day to be outdoors walking.
Turkey Vulture not a bird I have ever seen or heard of, if you anything like me you get the video up and running wishing for a breeze to swing them closer in to capture some great video of their display up above.
Exactly what I was wishing. There have been so many moments on our walks where I forgot to take the camera and there was some amazing possible videos - like the time when the cranes were just returning and one was lost from the flock and came soaring over the field we were walking in crying away and his call was echoing in the hills!
A nice walk, such beautiful flowers to accompany you, very nice.
