FALL COLORS, SPIDERS,FLOWERS AND YANKEE FANS #WEDNESDAYWALK #MAKEMESMILE
Good Day to all my #wednesdaywalk friends, @tattoodjay, thanks for hosting this every Wednesday. I especially like the third Wednesday of the month to join in the fun with #makemesmile with are pal @elizacheng. Thanks you are the best.
So let's go for a stroll, a walkabout mates and enjoy the scenery and the love.
Upstate NY is a riot of colors this fall. It really #makesmesmile, @elizacheng
Check out this colorful, yet unusual mushroom growth on the side of this hardwood. I don't know if it's edible but I am working on identifying the different edibles in our area, to add to our goal of @sustainablelivin, #gardencorner.
What a beautiful day it was here, enjoyed strolling down the road to just take in the fresh air.
Met this little fellow, during my #wednesdaywalk
Finally got around to plucking my gladiolus bulbs. They will be cut down, leaving two inches from the bulb. Then they will be dried out and placed in a paper bag and stored in a cool dark place until next spring . When the weather gets warm enough to work the soil, these bulbs will be planted again. I have great success with this method and do it every year.
#Flowers add beauty to any #homestead.
Gladiolus are such beautiful flowers as I am sure anyone who does #gardening knows. Best part about living on #farm, lots of room to plant.
Meet the youngest Yankee fan, Peyton. She loves watching the game with our family of Yankee fans, which goes way back in our family tree. Go YANKEES!

What a pretty place you live in and I love seeing the trees changing, @farm-mom. My mother used to do all that work for the gladiolus bulbs and other bulbs each fall. I do not have this chance now in SE Asia :)

Well hello there @fitinfun, thanks for the compliment. We really enjoy our farm. Love growing our own veggies, harvesting all the wild berries and having lots of space. The air is clean, the mountains are beautiful, especially with all the fall colors. As for the gladiolus, yes it does take some work, the planting and replanting, but so worth it. I so enjoy flowers.

The color up here in the mountains has been awesome this year, I really enjoy the fall.
That was quite a big spider, I used my zoom lens, so I didn't have to get too close.😅

Oh boy @rossfletcher, this fall has been exceptional with brilliant color as the leaves change.
I try to get out everyday to enjoy it, I know what's around the corner, burrrrrrr😏
Awesome, great shots! I see you're in Upstate New York - I'm originally from Southern Ontario, close to Buffalo. We had the same kind of autumns. I really miss those vibrant oranges and reds. We don't get that nearly as much here on the west coast.
