Mr. Squirrel was up bright and early this Wednesday morning enjoying his breakfast.
I was up and outside bright and early walking around putting more birdfood out and refilling the bird feeders.
Mr. Squirrel devoured most of the birdfood I had put out for the birds.
A wonderful and welcome blue sky this morning and many beautiful puffy small clouds.
A little Hemlock twig and resting on the snow.
I was trying to capture the shadow from a few of the wild grasses growing on the edge of the marsh.
The design caught my eye.

Some squirrels run like crazy and some don't..🤷♀️..
I haven't been seeing any of the red Squirrels this Winter. It's really weird. I'm not sure why. I'm thinking maybe because I have ALOT of the grey ones and they are driving the red ones away. It's just a theory.

@annephilbrick It is a good theory, have you ever seen them intermingling? Maybe they have tribes and do not associate with each other.

I believe they definitely have their tribes. I haven't seen them intermingle. They fight among themselves...🤷♀️🤦♀️...!!
@annephilbrick I have never seen squirrels fight, I now have this vision of them standing on their hind legs with front legs in the air, maybe their little foot fingers balled in a fist. LOL
They sometimes will fight a little and try and chase other squirrels away from the food...🤷♀️🤦♀️. Food agression I guess 🤷♀️. The red squirrels are the most aggressive. But I'm not seeing to many of them here this Winter. I'm not sure why. I usually have lots of them.

They will and do eat alot of it. They do seem to get their fill and move on...Thank goodness. I have one big bird feeder with a baffle on it. The baffle makes it difficult for them to get to the birdfood...!

It's hard to just only feed the birds.
The squirrels always seem to find away to get to the birdfood..🤷♀️.
All the birds and critters rejoice in getting feed🤗.
