WaterWednesday - A really special pond in the Pilis mountains
A very special pond, grown with duckweed, can be found near Pilisszentkereszt, in the Pilis mountains which is one of the most sacred places of Hungary, that has been inhabited for many thousands of years, where ancient mounds and pyramids can also be discovered. The natural-looking rocks are in fact ruins of ancient castles and fortresses.
The pond is very small, and the water-level is constant, whether it is rainy or dry weather. People does not know where the water is from. In addition, the pond is on top of a hill and i think it's also artifical, but very-very old.
Full of female quality and i'm sure this is a home of fairies and elves. That's why i used to put some little gifts for them, like this pebble.
