The Illegality of War - An interview with Chris Coverdale by Tony Farrell

In the beginning of 2013 I was lucky enough to film Chris Coverdale being interviewed by Tony Farrell about the illegality of war. All wars have been illegal for 90 years now.
After World War 1, the Kellogg-Briand Pact of 1928 has been signed. This treaty, signed by all major nations, Is a renunciation of war. It was promised that all international disputes would be settled peacefully. It was this treaty that formed the basis of the Nuremberg trials in which it was judged that Germany, Italy and Japan had broken that treaty.

Chris Coverdale is a peace campaigner who believes that war criminals like Tony Blair should be arrested and tried in front of a jury for breaching the International Criminal Court Act.

The International Criminal Court Act 2001 is an act of the UK parliament. It incorporates into UK law the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. The Rome Statute contains the offences like genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. The UK was in breach of that law when they participated in the wars against Afghanistan, Irak and Libya. It doesn’t matter wether these crimes of aggression are being approved by the UN Security Council. They are still in breach of international law.

Tony Farrell is a former Principal Intelligence Analyst from the South Yorkshire Police. He was fired after questioning the official narrative of the 2005 London Underground Bombing and refused to pay his council tax.

Paying tax is aiding and abetting the ongoing genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. This is a crime in itself. Therefore we must refuse to pay tax unless we want to be criminals ourselves. The law is very clear about this.
