original poetryI am better than them!
They told me "Write with common words,"
They said my verse was vague.
Implied my style was absurd,
Pen deep that spreads a plague.
.
An illness of the obvious,
Affliction sloughs me off.
Mundaneity that robs my loss
I roar with glee into their scoff.
Who dare defy me?!
Who scrawled the previous
Inflaming verse?
.
A-puffed with pride erroneous
To instigate careening lurch of
Our collective vessel drunken, hazy
Stumbling imbecilic braggart,
Passing lazy all besides,
A-slanted haggard.
Here I am to fight!
The joker in your mind.
.
For days on end
We can rumble, tough pretend
To swell like sponges soaked with
Tar, in the seaspray we could spar!
.
Last one standing is the sovereign
Of the ruined blight of land
Caused by poking out each other's eyes
And cutting off our brother's hand.

Wow! Finally a poem which I can actually UNDERSTAND enough to read fully through! Just when I had decided to STOP TORTURING myself, and beginning to BYPASS upping these, you managed to bring me back from the brink .... that is, at least TEMPORARILY....
I love your poetry. This verse grabbed me.
Well spoken.
A great-hearted knight, the fear of victory did not come in the laws of the universe. The words affect the hearts of the artists, the familiar people understand the point of ethers and deep thoughts. The madness of colors in the magic dreams dimension. Perfect - Amazing Inovative poetry @d-pend
