Walz probably wont carry the Midwest.

Yeah I'm skeptical of people that expect Walz to somehow carry the Midwest as some rural whisperer. He probably won't do that.

His recent electoral performance in Minnesota did not indicate that. He did have success in that regard when he was in the House, but that was before the rural realignment.

All that said, he certainly doesn't look like he'll hurt the ticket. He's a great foil to Vance and a great messenger for the values Harris wants to put forward. And that's underrated in this political environment.
