Walk With Me Through Halifax, Nova Scotia
We took a walk yesterday afternoon through downtown Halifax. Being Christmas Eve, the city was pretty much deserted compared to what it normally is.
The temperature here is still amazing for the end of December. Coming from Quebec where it’s like -25 degrees right now, it’s almost warm enough for shorts in Halifax at 4 degrees.
The weather isn't quite as good today. It's really windy and raining/hailing/snowing. Enjoy the photo's through Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We made it across the bridge and headed up to Cidatel Hill and walked around and down the other side.
Argyle Street is completely deserted now as we headed back down the hill.
We walked by this building and I took a quick shot of the steeple up in the sky.
Then my parents pointed out that there was a silhouette of a man in one of the windows. This was supposedly caused from the Halifax explosion, which has its 100th anniversary this year.
Here's a cool mural from downtown. It's a little disappointing that it's ruined by the condo advertisement, though.
And here's a really cool mural. Apperantly some people were trying to fight against it being put there because there was already a mural that had been there for a while. Turns out this is one of the top murals in the city now.
And finally, we headed back on the ferry and headed back over the Dartmouth.

Thanks @lindsaybowes! I got a wind warning on my phone that it would be -42 with the wind chill today in Quebec! It's a little colder here today but just thinking of what it's like in Quebec makes Halifax seem that much warmer.
I'm glad you can 'get away' from it for a while :) PS I assume you're a Stephen King fan? I'm finally reading The Dark Tower 7!! Been wondering how this whole series ends, now I get to find out! @hendrix22 got it for me for Christmas :) Have you read that series yet?
I haven't read The Dark Tower yet although my wife has read through them and they're in the house. She was addicted to reading through all of them for quite a while so I guess they're pretty good.
With a name like mine, I'm sort of obligated to be a fan of Stephen King. I've read a ton of his books back in the day and they are great. I don't really read like I used to, though. I suppose I still read a lot, it's just on steemit now and not physical books.

That mural is so cool... can't believe you think 4° is shorts weather... unless that's Celsius.. like 40° F?
Haha... Yeah 4 deg is a little cold for shorts, but it felt really warm coming from a place that was -25 deg celsius on a regular day right now.
