i think you are a brave girl and lots of energy to visite it a haunted house, all the story missing authentication except three as i feel. someones death or departure could turned you form your desire place.

I agree with you @sheikh27. A version of the 3rd story is likely what really happened. As beautiful as the island is, it would have been really isolated to live on full-time 60+ years ago. I'm actually not sure what I would do if it happened to me and today we have internet to keep us connected to others. ;)
