Today was an unbelievable day! It started kinda normal and I was going to go for a walk around the farm while a worked on processing firewood.

image

Today is a good day for it because the temperature is about 50 degrees.

image

Oh yeah...I did catch myself on fire this morning while using an angle grinder. I hate it becsuse I messed up a good pair of pants.

image

Made short work of the oak tree but now I'm really tired.

image

I figured this would be a boring #walkwithme post if I just took pictures of firewood, so I best be makin a lap towards the pond.

The perimeter of the woods is guarded by tractor equipment.

image

Some of it hasn't been used in many years.

image

Although, this gets used every year.

Making my way back through the lumber yard.

Here is what will be my friends garden come this summer.

image

Gorgeous tree line!

image

Not sure what kind of tree this is but there was a bunch of squirrels playing in it.

image

Now I've got the pond in my sights, it looks like it has a skim of ice on it left over from our deep freeze we just had.

image

Look at how beautiful this is!

image

I can't believe what I'm seeing. The water doesn't look frozen but the air bubbles are suspended. This was so cool and I never would have gotten to see this beauty if it wasn't for the #walkwithme tag, thanks @lyndsaybowes!

I've never seen anything quite like this before right at the cusp of being frozen. I was amazed by the beauty and couldn't wait to share it with you guys!

Well son, I do declare that I think you need a beaver for that lovely pond...
LOL!
That'll help you with your wood management chores...
Great pictures! It's cool that you've caught so many bubbles in suspension. ;)

LOL @rebeccaryan!! (I did literally laugh out loud reading your "well son..."

I don't know what I'm going to do with that girl, I swear.

Hahaha! I will forever be known as the Lady with more than one beaver who only wants to share.
(It's a gifting platform right?)

@natureofbeing Right?! I can hear the drawl and everything. Well played, @rebeccaryan! Thanks for the laugh! 😆

SMFH Not even gonna say anything...🤐

Keep shaking, my friend and then read my response to @natureofbeing. LMFAO!

Very cool. Why all the bubbles? Because its warm?

I have no idea man, I was just in awe over it! The thing that was so amazing was how the water wasnt frozen.

Omg...it's like time just stopped, how incredible is this??!! How did all that bubbling happen? Why would there be so many frozen bubbles like that? EPIC!! And you do really have a lovely eye for photography too...

@lyndsaybowes I swear I have never seen anything so amazing and intriguing as this! I literally sat on the edge of the pond just looking at these bubbles for theres no telling how long. I honestly felt so at peace with Mother Earth and nature and I didnt want to disturb the water or the bubbles. I was in a very happy place! I can't explain what I photographed but I'm glad that I did and it's thanks to you that I got to enjoy this beauty! This is a Bob Ross mother fuckin moment if I ever seen one!

A Bob Ross moment...or...

OMG! lol! So good! 😂

BAAAHAAAA!!! YEAH! ✌😱

some gorgeous views and wow, those bubbles!! very cool capture. I like these walk with me posts, you've inspired me and I just might make one too

I'm so glad that you enjoyed this, it's a great way to get outside to get some fresh air and exercise. And then finding hidden treasures like this is a huge bonus!

I agree with you. That was great find. Sometimes we get lucky.
When we expect the normal, everyday sights. We get an unusual and totally different look that makes our day.
I had one today too. I have recorded it for later. It doesn't stand out like your does. But, it is something you will rarely see in a lifetime.
Thank you

Francis

That is awesome. I wonder how that happened.. the water must have frozen quickly to trap so many bubbles like that.

I have no idea man, the weather here in North Carolina is so crazy, I think Mother Nature gets confused some times. Last night it was in the teens but it will be in the 60's by the weekend lol, crazy!

It's going crazy here too.. relatively warm and sunny two days ago.. blizzard yesterday, sunny again today... the weather has gone bipolar!

Looks like a good days work man, those bubbles are really cool, it's amazing just what we can find where we're in nature and paying attention.

Man, I was just amazed sitting there on the edge of the pond looking at every little detail around me. It was a great day for sure, thanks for the visit!

Thank you for the tour of your beautiful property! The last photo is particularly magical! The waxy-leafed tree looked almost like a magnolia, but I could be way off. Glad you've got wood to keep you warm. We're burning a lot up here in Canada! Love my wood stove. It's the best kind of heat. Really enjoyed going on a walk with you. Thanks!

You are correct, it is a magnolia tree! Thank you for your kind words!

Thank you for using the family tag! This post was chosen to be featured in the latest issue of 'Notes'. Do stop in and see what some of your other allies are up to & keep Steeming on! #thealliance pagebreak.png
