Your post brings back fine memories of Florida! I loved kayaking in the freshwater canals...so much to see, and so peaceful. I too, am drawn towards the water. Thanks for the nice reminder on this snowy January day!

One thing I have learned over the years. We adjust to the conditions that we are in.
It may not be to our liking at that time and place. But we think we know that is will change at some point in the future.
And it is no different now. The North is cold, while here it is warm. Soon it will be warm up there and hot here. Ugh on the hot. Ha

Ah yes...the hot! I remember it as well, although not as fondly. You are right..humans are adaptable. Maybe that's why I like to move around every 7-10 years or so. Next stop--perhaps back to the tropical world!
