Now I have taken long without writing but I feel led by the spirit to write to you these things.

I thank god for each one of us reading.

Now most of us have read the story of Luke 5:1-11.now in this story Jesus uses peter’s boat to preach the gospel and when he is done he tells Simon peter to launch in to the deep so as to catch fish. Peter does this and gets a lot of fish calls his friends to catch more fish with him and after that great catch peter leaves all the fish and follows Jesus. In verses 10 Jesus tells peter that from that day he will be a fisher of men

WHY WE PREACH THE GOSPEL. (MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION)

2 Corinthians 5 17-18 therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of god, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given us the ministry of reconciliation;

In this scripture Paul tells us that when we get born again we become new creatures and all our old has passed away and this reconciliation is through Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
Now there is something interesting in verse 18 he tells that when Jesus Christ he also gave man that ministry of reconciliation. Here he is meaning that when you know that Jesus Christ died for you reach out to someone else who does not know about God and reconcile him back to God.

We reconcile people back to God through preaching the Gospel and reaching out to the lost.

This is also done through supporting the people who preach the gospel financially or physically.

So brother, sister reach out to people and tell them about God, what he has done for them and what is in store for them because he has given you the ministry of reconciliation.
