Pathetic Triplet to Nigerians

We deceive ourselves yet as we'd boo semi-literate B'UHARI
Nobody would vote for the Professor of KOWA party
We prefer ATIKULATED pincher wanting the return of PDP.

Interpretation
A triplet is simply a poem of 3 lines. It may flow following a specific rhyming pattern though. The rhyming pattern of the one there is AAA. As each line ends with /I/ sound when read. This helps to add to the musicality of the poem.

Not to bore, waste time or to go not straight to the point being less technical, the actual reason for writing this piece is to bring about some reminder to us masses in the art of politics in Nigeria.

Line one holds that we are the ones deceiving ourselves in Nigeria. When I say WE, I mean us masses. We claim the leader of the incumbent government is semiliterate but yet we voted him in and are still going to do so in the general election.

Normally, since being with that claim, we would say we want someone who is resourced well in academics is who we want. We had a professor running under KOWA party, hardly did the woman had 500 votes from over 180 million people. That is what the second line holds.

The last one reminds of the opposing party, currently, the most powerful one, PDP, after the ruling party, APC, whose candidate for the upcoming election is ATIKU, a good looter, whom many call the messiah now. They want to vote him back to power, who had been there for close to 2 decades but did nothing tangible then. We are favouring him over both the incumbent leader and even the Professor who is as clean as tabular rasa and well read.

All this implies, we the masses are the ones destroying the more the being of our government due to sentiment and selfishness. We have got to change, know what we want and need and go for it as one for Nigeria to be better.
