What is your vision for what a whale should be?
Whales are an integral part of the system. Without some kind of hierarchy, there would be no competition between users and no desire to gain influence.
The problem we have in steem is that becoming a whale is way beyond reach which removes the incentive to buy steem power.
Are there any whales currently that support your idea to change the way whales impact the system?
Yes, some whales have explicitly shown interested for the idea. Whales have been smart to see the potential of steem before everyone else so I’d like to think they are smart enough to understand the benefits of this proposal.
What drives you to keep pushing this idea?
It’s very simple, I want steem to succeed. I think it’s the crypto with the best chance to reach mass adoption and that it is highly undervalued considering tech and development. And a free world of course..the implications are huge!
Like most people I found out about steem during the july spike. I was excited about it and wanted to invest in it but I didn’t because I couldn’t understand it. I spent months to fully understand how it worked. Once I understood it, I wanted to invest because I could see the potential but saw a lot of limitations in the design. So I decided to be more vocal about the potential issues so they could be fixed.
Guardian of the steem universe is on the trending page, how does that make you feel?
It makes me feel hopeful for the future of steem.
Do you think being on the trending page helps the cause?
Being on the trending page helps get the message out there for sure. It’s also a confirmation that many in the community can see the benefits of the proposal.
Whats your views on Guilds?
Curation guilds are a good initiative, they have done a lot to improve reward distribution but they are not a real solution. These guilds do not incentivize people to buy steem power and make the system even harder to understand.
If you could say 1 line to the people of Steemit.com what would it be?
Hang in there. Steem is the sleeping giant of cryptos.
Donuts or Cupcakes?
Kanelbullars , the real swedish kanelbullar. I’ve visited Sweden twice, these ‘bullars’ were the best thing ever. @the-ego-is-you and I actually raved about these recently because he is from Sweden!
Juice or Water?
Definitely juice, I’m a big fan of exotic juice like pineapple or mango juice. I’m also a fan of thejuicemedia.
