Spinco Programs - SpinCo Together

SpinCo Together is a team a volunteers who aim to positively impact individuals experiencing mental, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders, as well as those suffering from intellectual and developmental disabilities by introducing them to the movement arts. Movement arts help to create unique learning experiences where students will have an opportunity for socialization, and enhance their physical, mental, and emotional wellness. SpinCo Together I looking to work with established non-profit organizations located throughout the City of Philadelphia.

Looking for Teachers & Volunteers!
SpinCo Together is looking for teachers and volunteers experienced in hula hoop, poi, juggling, fans, nunchucks and dance for programs to take place this Fall 2018. See below on how to apply! Please email [email protected] for more information.

BECOME A TEACHER!

Teacher Description
• Bachelor’s degree, or experience equivalent of 2 years in social work, special education, rehabilitation or therapeutic health, nursing or any behavioral science field
• Practice movement arts for at least 1 year with a solid understanding of the foundations for a specific track (movement art)
• Experience in teaching movement arts is preferred
• De-escalation skills are a plus
