I can tell you from experience that emotional pain is compounded with the tortures we inflict on our own mind. If the cause of pain is external – from someone else, then you’re doing yourself a grave injustice.

You are precious and your mind, your body and your soul deserve nothing but happiness. Just think about it – how can someone else walk all over you and steal YOUR HAPPINESS. It is this thinking – the need to RESPECT OUR OWN SELF that makes us stronger and alleviates the pain that we assume is meant for us.
