MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Position.
    The player position in the game of football is dependent upon if the team is playing offense or defense.

  2. Position.
    The new visual designer at Neiman Marcus needs to position some of the new apparels to the front of the store.

  3. Postpone.
    The Beatles had to postpone their live performance concert because one of the musicians in the group was terribly ill.

  4. Preposition.
    There are three things to learn about preposition when writing sentences: to show time, location, and direction. For example, (1) the train will depart in three hours; (2) I place your wallet in your handbag; (3) the pedestrian need to go across the street.

  5. Positive.
    He always stays positive despite of the entire setback he’s experiencing with this new adventure that is unknown to him.

  6. Component.
    There are many components that need to be requisition before the machinist can begin to build the model aircraft for its client.

  7. Juxtapose.
    She needed to present an idea that juxtaposes what constitute a new fashion show versus an old one.
