I'm not so sure if "Eclectic" is the same as "Electric"... xD

Yeah, I said it jokingly, since he (likely accidentally) used 'electric' instead of 'eclectic'.

  5. The Americans got a very eclectic collection of presidents, ranging from simple vampire hunters to advanced monkeys.

As for the monkeys, it could be argued that the US has elected various monkeys over the years, with the most recent being the least intelligent of them all. :-)

NEGLECT: American arrogance and neglect played a big part in this stunning reversal.
ELEGIBLE: There was no agreement on what was eligible and what was not.
ECLECTIC: I'm fairly conservative when it comes to music but my wife has very eclectic tastes.
