Hey I can only base my opinion on what i have physically seen.
These are the types of sunsets i have witnessed first hand (many times)...Unless there is some kind of reason this could occur on a flat plane? To me it is more logical that it is moving behind curvature.
Dude, ever heard of perspective & vanishing point? Your eye can only see so far (to the horizon). If you'd pull up a telescope or zoom in with a nikon p-900 you'd be able to make the sun appear fully. It's the sun that moves, not the earth.

Question. Have you ever taken a p-900 and done this yourself? Because if you had you would know this is not possible (although seemingly larger you would still see the sun fractionally against the back drop of the ocean)...What your talking about is conjecture. Your talking about a sun that is above the horizon so by your definition the whole sun should shrink until you can't see it...Not half vanish and half appear.
It has nothing to do with perspective that is a pseudo explanation which is entrenched in confirmation bias. I appreciate that you expose the truth in other subject matter but your simply wrong about this one.
You have to do your own investigations & come to your own conclusions, bruh. I shouldn't have responded to your initial comment in the first place, since I'm not interested in a plane vs. sphere debate. There is none. If you want to believe you are a descendant of a monkey living on a spinning ball hurtling through space at multiple supersonic breakneck speeds, that's up to you. For me, 28 months after first stumbling over this topic, I'm more interested in the fact that we have OBVIOUSLY been lied to & what we are gonna do about it. Let's assume I am wrong about this one, it still doesn't verify the pear-shaped spheroid. So, good luck with your globe-minded endeavours!
