And the best experiment to prove the Earth is not flat is to watch a sunset or sunrise on a clear sky over the ocean and you will see that it sets and rises fractionally to the point where the sun is a half semi circle. It does not appear as a small dot that gets bigger and bigger or smaller and smaller...I have witnessed this sooo many times it's crazy to think there is even a big debate about this. Please please try this for yourself, use a sun filter and binoculars if you need to. But there has to be a point where you take internet conjecture out of the picture and use scientific experiment to base your conclusion. Peace brother

These are the types of sunsets i have witnessed first hand (many times)...Unless there is some kind of reason this could occur on a flat plane? To me it is more logical that it is moving behind curvature.
Dude, ever heard of perspective & vanishing point? Your eye can only see so far (to the horizon). If you'd pull up a telescope or zoom in with a nikon p-900 you'd be able to make the sun appear fully. It's the sun that moves, not the earth.
Question. Have you ever taken a p-900 and done this yourself? Because if you had you would know this is not possible (although seemingly larger you would still see the sun fractionally against the back drop of the ocean)...What your talking about is conjecture. Your talking about a sun that is above the horizon so by your definition the whole sun should shrink until you can't see it...Not half vanish and half appear.

For me, 28 months after first stumbling over this topic, I'm more interested in the fact that we have OBVIOUSLY been lied to & what we are gonna do about it.
