Thank you, I actually tried massaging before you mentioned it - made it 10 x worse! Total agony all night I barely slept - even Nurofen pain killers did little to deaden it. The pain is right on the joint where the big toe joins the main foot - and the most common reason for pain in that joint is Arthritis so my old age is finally catching up on me.
