Accredited Investor Rules are Unfair

in #vitalik6 years ago

I have been saying for a while that Accredited Investor rules are unfair.
Only the rich are allowed to invest in startups which have a 5-10% chance of making it big. Poor people can only invest in poker machines and government gambling schemes with a 0.0001% chance of making it big.
It seems Vitalik Buterin agrees.

The whole system which is designed to "protect" investors seems actually just to perpetuate wealth imbalances.
I've seen dirt poor people in Australian remote towns put all their cash into poker machines.
They'd be much better off putting it into an ICO!

I think that THE PEOPLE are voting with their feet by going into Crypto and ICOs of startups to get around these stupid unfair rules.
