Alien Plant

Yesterday I started creating some fractal images with Sterling2. I did some color variations of this one, which at first, to me looked like a flower reflected in a pond or a lake in an alien world:

Afterwards I wanted a more consistent look of liquid reflection and used this one, created this morning, for it:

All mixed and tweaked in Gimp. Here it is, my Alien Plant! Sort of looks like a giant alien Lotus flower to me, reflected in a peaceful pond in a far away distant world.
