Hello Steem friends! I'm running for US Senate: Pro Constitution, Pro Liberty, Pro Peace
I'm Matt Waters, proud home-school dad from Newport News Virginia.
I'm currently the only candidate in the VASen race born & raised in the great state of Virginia.
I'm the 2018 Libertarian Party nominee, and I'm also endorsed by the Constitution Party of Virginia.
I believe in the Constitution of these United States, I fully support your right to free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, the right to defend yourself and your family, due process, personal liberty, limited Government, a strong defense for when necessary to defend ourselves, with an emphasis on peace.
I am running for office because I am concerned about our out of control spending. A $21 trillion dollar debt. An annual $1.5 trillion dollar deficit. A military industrial complex involved around the globe, a weaponized IRS and agencies such as the NSA and FBI that spy on American citizens. An unaccountable Federal Reserve whose policies devalue every dollar we earn. And of course there are the Departments of Agriculture, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce, Energy, and Education that can be privatized and put into the marketplace to compete with non-profits and for-profits.
The aim of this campaign is to restore liberty to the people by limiting the size and scope of our federal government.

Gov't issues IPO of all or portion of Energy Dept. Sale remaining shares.
Sell the Energy Dept
Employee buyout or management buyout.

What about the functions of the Department of Energy that can't be transferred to a private company? Isn't that 2/3 of their budget?
