View.ly - STEEM Powered Video Uploads

YouTube is constantly censoring users and it is becoming more and more of an issue. Content providers with thousands of subscribers are seeing videos vanish from their channel. The centralized nature of YouTube allows for this to occur. Recently a fellow Steemian by the name of @furion became furious with YouTube and decided to combat their censorship by using STEEM developments. He created View.ly, a decentralized video uploading platform powered by the STEEM blockchain.

Currently, View.ly is at a demo stage.
Videos can be uploaded using the 'Alpha' site: https://alpha.view.ly/

At the moment uploads are limited to a 100MB file size, but you can always upload a video by pasting a YouTube link. View.ly will pull the video from YouTube and broadcast it onto the STEEM platform where it can never be censored.

View.ly allows you to post videos directly to your STEEM profile. All you need to do is provide your Account Name and Private Posting Key. You can also choose to anonymously post the video, but you will not receive STEEM rewards, instead it will be posted to the account: @useruploads.
