Death, misery, destruction - it all sells well, that's why it's very popular to make those doomsday AI shows/movies.
That's of course true. Conflict is at the center of pretty much every work of fiction. That said, it's good to see many friendly AIs in movies, games and books of late. Conflict comes from elsewhere. The evil AI fad is over!
