Layers of Fear 2 announced
Bloober reveals the authentic identity of Project Méliès.

Bloober Team has announced Layers of Fear 2.

In March of this year, the first Project Méliès teaser was published, the new one of the studio, and we were able to watch a few more seconds of video in August.

The third video, just 10 seconds, has revealed the true name of this project: the sequel to Layers of Fear, the horror game in which we controlled a painter imprisoned in a Victorian mansion. The sequel will keep an artist as the protagonist, but this time focused on the cinema and set in a boat.

No dates or platforms have been announced for Layers of Fear 2.

Team Sonic Racing is delayed until May of next year
It is not so fast.

Sega has announced that the launch of Team Sonic Racing is delayed until May 21, 2019.

The racing game, which was planned for winter this year, is being developed by British studio Sumo Digital, responsible for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. At first it will have versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The Japanese company has stated that it has taken the decision to delay the launch of Team Sonic Racing until May to "allow the game to improve the players' experience" and ensure that "it offers the best playable experience possible."

This delay is still curious, because when we tested the game in the past E3 we found it not only fun, but quite solid. This extra time to finish polishing it will mean that the title has an even higher quality.

Sega adds that "we understand that many fans were waiting for the launch this winter and we apologize for any inconvenience caused, and we hope that with this additional time our teams can offer an unforgettable experience that fans can enjoy for years to come."

Level-5 resurrects Ushiro's development to be published on Nintendo Switch
Ten years after its initial announcement.

Level-5, the study responsible for the sagas Professor Layton and Yo-Kai Watch, has announced that it will resuscitate the development of Ushiro, a horror RPG that was announced a decade ago and that was soon after canceled.

Ushiro was presented at the press conference held in 2008 by the Japanese company on the occasion of its tenth anniversary. At first it was thought that the game would reach PSP and mobile devices a year later. Now the destination platform is Nintendo Switch.

As can be read in Lost Media Wiki, Ushiro starred Reiichiro Ushiro, a shinigami spirit who could grant a single wish to a person, in exchange for his life. In the game, controlling this character, we could possess people and live their day to day. The fight was in turn, with Reiichiro fighting against the evil that was inside the people.

Level-5 continued promoting the game throughout 2008, publishing cinematics and some gameplay, which you have in the video that accompanies this news. The development, however, ceased soon after and in 2010 its website was deleted, hinting at the cancellation of the project. Despite the fact that Ushiro's game never came to light, a series of novels and a manga adaptation were published.

In the latest issue of Famitsu magazine Akihiro Hino, president of Level-5, has spoken in depth about the history of the company, and when asked about Ushiro has suggested to the editors that they change the game of the category "PSP" to "Switch". The development, nevertheless, seems that it goes for long, and Hino has assured that "it is more serious in the tone and in the subjects of terror" that Yo-Kai Watch and that still has not begun.
