Haarlem? Amsterdam? Both are great!
Madlen got her Christmas present very early this year :) A few days before the holidays we drove to Haarlem in the Netherlands.
The cozy little town is only 20 kilometers from Amsterdam and absolutely charming. We stayed for 5 days in a really nice Airbnb apartment which is almost in the center of Haarlem.
Haarlem also has a huge national park, which we visited in the thickest fog. A mood like in the fantasy movie.
We visited Amsterdam twice during our getaway. During the Amsterdam light festival we drove around on the canals at night and were on the highest swing in Europe!
