Addressing some objections (both valid and absurd) to my recent contest.
I recently received quite a mouthful/earful of a comment from an upset user/contest entrant regarding the recent 100 SBD giveaway I did on my blog. While the commenter's general accusatory tone and serious accusations against both myself and the winner of the contest are without merit, some of what was said was important, and I feel I owe it to my followers to give a detailed account of exactly what happened, and why I chose the blogger I did as the winner of my contest.
It is my sincere hope that any potential misgivings will not discourage participation in future contests, and that if any followers of this blog have further questions or comments, they will feel free to voice them here. From here on out I will strive to be clearer and more concise in my contest rules and expectations, and stick to the plan laid out from the start.

Sadly you're always going to get that type of moron commenting here, although I see he stopped commenting when you threatened the flag.
Don't change a thing mate I know you wouldn't but I just wanted to say it. The commenter sounded bitter, twisted and greedy, not want we want to see here.

Thanks man, I really appreciate that. Yeah, that dude (or dudette) was certainly bitter. Sure am glad I didn't send any money their way, but hopefully this will help me to set up my contests more clearly in the future. The dude that won was not just some random blog, though, like said bitter Steem-O asserted. He made a mini-essay. Just in the wrong place.
Anyway, as my wife said "You don't need to explain yourself!" Haha.

im just new here on your Dtube videos... Its nice to make contest! ! but try to clarify the rules because for sure at the end of contest .. They will object or try complaint about it.. but its your contest and your money... u are just trying to share some blessings! ..
Your wife s a wise woman. Listen to her. You do not have to explain yourself to anyone. It is your contest and your money. Sounds like the one complaining had a lot of sour grapes. There are those in every walk of life. Ignore them. They are toxic and aren't worth your time.
I do my own contest and barely get any entries but I enter all sorts of contests myself I try to pay close attention to the rules but sometimes they are not so clear. Also I know this platform is worldwide not all understand the complexities or have an exact translation of certain words. With all that in mind its the thought and energy that goes into the attempted entry sometimes that also counts. In my opinion having the best intention and plans was the best pick which @kafkanarchy made and was a good decision.

The thing is most times dome users who take part in some contest usually feel cheated expecially if they suspect another user of cheating
