Logic certainly backs up the theory and your post sheds light on the reason why a product such as "The Thunder Shirt" for dogs works.
I am quite hot blooded and sleep much better in a cool room than a warm one. But, even if the room is too hot, I sleep better with something blanketing me rather than with no cover. Something simply resting on me is soothing, physically and mentally.
So, from my own experience I can tell you that your suggestion definitely works for me and will for others as well.
yes... i agree - the nice thing about the (expensive) blankets is that they claim to give the weight without adding too much heat! I'm thinking about buying one for my son who also runs hot-blooded but doesnt' sleep well (like his mom!)
i never heard of the Thunder Shirt!!!! interesting that it works for animals too - but.... i guess, why wouldn't it? :)
