The Vertical Zipline

Have you ever seen a vertical zipline before? Well technically this isn’t truly vertical but about as close as a zip line can get. 2 hours south of Bangkok, the Pattaya Park Tower Zipline in Pattaya City, Thailand has this bizarre attraction. This zip line has 3 different ways it can be enjoyed. Single rider, doubles and an 8 person cage can coast down the line at a very steep angle. This attraction costs between $10 - $20 depending if you are a local or a tourist or around $5 just to see the view from the tower. This 56 story zipline is most terrifying the moment you step off the roof’s edge, the brief moment you start to fall before the line catches you may cause some people to lose their lunch. Speaking of lunch the Pattaya Park Tower has 3 different restaurants to choose from that call come with a view. They are placed on top of each other on the 52nd, 53rd, 54th floors that all enjoy rotating views of the city and ocean. If you are planning on visiting this attraction don’t expect a speedy adrenaline rush if you don’t have a fear of heights. So with that said while it has an amazing views this ride is a slow glide to the bottom from the 56th floor. Now if you have acrophobia then you’ll be in for the thrill of a lifetime as this ride takes around 1 a minute to coast down.
