Verified in Minutes with Revolut for £25k spending for the Year with their Onfido Identity Verification and Background Checks Intergration while i’ve been waiting WEEKS with Cryptopay :(

Just wanted to mention this because it went so damn smoothly I was actually kinda shocked. The onside integration is super super nice, I scanned my passport and my face, it was all done and dusted and I got a push notification saying they were happy with it and my limit was increased on the revolut platform for £25k of spending for the year, perfect - zero hassles, thanks revolut, perfect! :)

also I put a tweet out to revolut in the hope they might see that I had been recording a little video about my experiences with their app and that I really wanted to try the cryptocurrency exchange setup, that’s the biggest thing here for me because I can tell you average person in the street how to buy and invest in crypto easier than sending them to some website which might confuse them, topping up your card makes it super easy.

I’m hoping that they might come back and give me some premium access features for a three month trial or maybe even just unlock the cryptocurrency part from me so I can do a proper review, I’m really excited about this for many reasons but just being able to use this in the apple wallet (where as my other cards will not work) is huge.

that means I can get paid in my PayPal or on my engage card, load up here, split bills, buy a little crypto, have some balances, check the spending I do and ultimately use my phone at the till using rfid and Apple Pay — brilliant, easy and straightforward.

I have no doubt whatsoever that revolut will be one the big killer applications of 2018 and will most likely win some award for their ui and ease of use and integration, next up for me is to receive a physical card and I can let you know how all of that goes as well, dead exciting right? :)
