Venezuela's Economy is falling appart.steemCreated with Sketch.

Hello everybody, Vancry here.

Yesterday, 1st of August, the American Dollar was worth exactly 12.197,74 bolívares (which is Venezuela's currency). Today, 2nd of August, came up to 14.760,89 bolívares.

Now, the Venezuelan minimum salary rose to 250k bolívares in total. Taking that to a count, the average working-class in Venezuela makes up to 17 bucks a month, at max. With that salary nobody could rent a room or an appartment to live -and that's without counting food and services-.

And, let's say you can pay the rent, buy food and pay your fees because you have the money. If you want food, you have to look all over the city to get what you need. Medical suplies? Most of them are scarce. Your car is failing? No spare parts for you because they are also scarce. And if you do find what you need is expensive as fuck. But that isn't really news to Venezuelans.

There are rumors that the American Dollar is going to be valued in way more than 25.000 bolívares at the end of the year or in a couple months... we don't know yet.

I needed to vent a little. This fills me with desesperation really.

What pisses me off the most is, even if we do manage to make our communist president quit and leave, we would have to wait for many years before the economy in our country gets better... but at least there's the hope that it will be better. We just have to wait.

Thanks for your time! Upvote, comment and resteem if you liked this post, it would help me out a lot.

Sorry about your country. It will get better. I was reading about a crypto coin named bolivarcoin here on steem before. https://steemit.com/bolivarcoin/@javierehb/bolivarcoin-2-anos-conversacion-para-inversionistas-y-nuevos-companeros-en-bolivarcoin-video
I used to collect older coins and I know your coins used to contain silver.
Had the weight and purity right on the coins. Pretty too. Might look into old silver coins that might have been lost in old things, buildings. I heard a ounce of silver could buy a good amount of food now in your country. I've heard it could feed you for close to a month? Any truth to that?

Just an ounce? No. That's not even enough to pay the bus. An ounce of silver here in Venezuela is worth exactly 153,08 bolívares, I did the math :s

The only way it could be worth enough, is to sell it in American Dollars (16.73 bucks today if my information is not wrong), and sell those bucks in bolívares.

By the way, today 3rd of August, the American Dollar is worth 15.892,95 bolívares now. Fuck me.

We make the math and that exchange would be worth exactly 265.889,05 bolívares, or a little more than a minimum salary.

So it's kind of true. I guess.

Thanks for reply. Keep Steemin! Would be nice if some whales here gave you a bump!
Steemit creators should promote this as well, not just bumping their friends who in turn talk and advertise steem afterwords. Give the Venezuelan's on steem $15,000 like you did Jeff Berwick or other friends to talk up steem. Way better use of advertising money then with one guy. And they need it.
That would be anarchy inducing!
Keep posting news. People outside of your country really do care and want to know what it is like there and the challenges you face. I know you need to be careful so do what's best for you.

I really appreciate it man. And don't worry, I will hahaha. Thanks a lot.

Gave you a follow by the way! I like to see support for our country from people over the world!
