This situation stinks, just had read this post from @sosadraws and I know of @yanes94's awesome work in the #TrialByComics and more all the time. Hopefully your post and Steem can help her out.

I really appreciate your help @bryan-imhoff and @veryspider, we are suffering in many ways (not only economically, psycologically too, we are passing a stressing situation where we are "laughing to not cry"). Thanks for your kindness, I hope you friend returning soon, many states are without power or internet yet (and other things like water :/). In my case, Internet (I didn't have food but we could buy it yesterday C:). So if you see a Venezuelan who live in Venezuela posting, you know that they made a big effort to do it. I hope we can achieve a life which we can live.
I can say a lot of things we are suffering but that would be just a spam, you can see our situation in the news, so I'll face our problem posting my artwork XD.

Thank you so much for that list! Some great folks to follow there. I’m afraid I just don’t take the time to explore the broader #art tags, I just stomp around the #comics areas that I consider home and end up missing a lot!
I spider around in the art tag almost every day and I'm happy to give artists boosts of visibility. But I understand that most people do keep to their kens, because there can be just SO MUCH contents out there and it does get a bit overwhelming sometimes :)
I'm thinking I want to do more for my Venezuelan friends too, but I get a bit unsure if I should just select one or two in particular since I feel it might left the others in the rain :(
You are wonderful and kind, though, and I'm sure your generosity will go a long way! A great gesture !!!

I feel that way too @bryan-imhoff and this is exactly what is good about online life. It lets us all connect and see we are all the same and want to just be happy and share. It is only the governments and those in power who want to make divides and sadly, despite being so easily connected now most people are 'connected' via owned sites that just tell us all the 'reality' we are meant to see...sad indeed.
My heart goes out to all our Venezuelan friends and Steemians. As an American I feel especially bad when I consider how my country loves to 'help' so many countries.

I hope this post will reach a lot of people, you described the situation in a detailed and very human way:) For me Venezuelan community is the the greatest asset of @steem, they are the only ones who are actualy using it in a practical way. Isnt that the true purpose of the coin? To try and make a living, to survive in a dire situation and to support your loved ones? i think it is and it makes me very happy to see it happening:)
I know @yanes94 Carmen only a few months and i met her through her artworks and the very supportive comments she writes to artists. Carmen is also a curator at @ntopaz, one of the best and most supportive:)
I admire her as a person, she is very strong, not afraid to say what she believes is right and she doing a very hard work to evolve as an artist and always present sth new. She sometimes says that she is not an artist, but in my opinion she is one of the best artists i ve seen in my life. Art has only one true purpose and this is to fight for life all the other things are just details for critics and theorist to discuss.
Keep on fighting Carmen, i wish with all my heart everything to end soon and in the best way possible:)
