Velo Birmingham 100 mile Cycle Race

Wow what a morning I had yesterday. I felt so privileged to watch these amazing people cycle through my village (15,000 of them). There was such different views put out by the general public - some saying like me that it was amazing and others taking the completely opposite stance of it being an inconvenience to them having road closures around where they lived.

A good number of the 15,000 cyclists where taking part to raise money for charity and I take my hat off to these people.

I have taken some photos which, though they were only taken with my Samsung A5 phone, I hope gives you some ideas of what I was able to witness.

Let hope thar this becomes an annual event.
