I think this is one best looking aircraft ever produced. These pictures were taken at Duxford Flying Legends airshow.
"Miss Pick Up" was built in 1943 for the Royal Canadian Air Force and was brought over to the UK in 2004.

There was a really nice one at the R/C swap I was at recently. I don't think he sold it though. :(
I guess you could end up cleaning out your bank account at those places lol
Yep, as long as you had a trailer to haul it all home in! Used R/C stuff usually gets 50% of new value at most, so buying is fun...selling can suck. This was at the biggest R/C swap in the country - 1050 tables! I managed to come home with money still in my wallet...somehow! haha

Yeah, you aren't kidding! If storage at home wasn't an issue, it may have been another story...haha. The plus side for me was, I have a good collection of planes in different categories (warbird, aerobatic, jet, etc), so I didn't really NEED anything. I try not to have too many of any type, because any in one type will pretty much fly like each other.
For a flying boat yes, compared to the ones the UK produced win's hands down lol
